Memorial weekend

I have promised myself to get back to blogging once a week. This weekend we went to the lake for Memorial weekend. The kids did great. I was hesitant on how James would do wearing a life vest and riding in the boat. I have come away more scared for the boat. Dude man is a dare devil. He thinks it is so much fun to test the limits. Yes, if I took him on a roller coaster he would be the one with his hands up. They all slept well and behaved. Thank goodness for the wonderful sound machines from walmart. Those things will be with us on vacation from now on!! The weekend did end on a low note. James finished up his amoxicillian on Saturday for a right ear infection. Sunday came and biggin slowly became clingy and kept banging his head on everything. After about the 5th time mommy just starts saying "Really?!!" Then Monday came and life was not better. Well hellow Tuesday...yikes...fever with a left arm work out. He is now back on antibiotics..augmenten for a right ear infection and strep throat. The doc started to say the tube word and he held off. Time will tell!
Ansley reminded daddy this weekend what a sponge a three year old can be. They were out in the garage up at the lake playing around. Ansley was riding her big wheel around and could not get around the car. What comes out of her mouth "Damn it" Yes my sweet little goose knows how to use it correctly. Daddy explained how that is not a good word to use or in her terms "potty words." I am sure there are many other moments but it was nice it was not on my time.
"The Hot Pool" (Ansley)
James love his Oscar. He tends to enjoy invading the dogs space. Oscar definitely gets lots of attention these days. Luckily, he is a great dog with tons of patience.
