Dirt

Lets start off with great news.. We went to the ENT and Henry passed his hearing test!! Woohoo. Not that I was too worried but it is heartbreaking when he didn't pass it the first two times. His ears looked perfect. More good news I met with Babies can't wait and we have started the paperwork with them. He has had a delay in speech, mostly clarity. We thought it would resolve itself but he is just becoming more and more frustrated and so are we. It doesn't help when you add the age of 2 into the picture. With my background I have been working with him but he has decided that he is done with me. Pretty sure he just likes messing with me so we have called the professionals in!
Below are some pictures of Henry in the backyard. On this particular day he spent around 5 hours playing. His new favorite thing to do is feed the cows. No we don't own any but his favorite show paw patrol feeds cows in an episode. At one point I turned around and he had Pinstraw in many different piles throughout the yard and on the swings. Periodically he would call the cows to eat. My neighbors must wonder. The same day I brought out a bag of sand and said play.
He had a blast. He was covered from head to tie with dirt.
This picture was taken right before I realized he had sand in his hand and it was heading my way.

Thanks to Ansley he was styling.

This week we received Ansley's
Report card and she earned straight A's!! So proud of our girl.
She has now started playing volleyball and loves it! I need to get some pictures of her!

Happy birthday Ansley!!!

Happy birthday day to the only princess in this house!! It feels like we have been celebrating for a week. However, today she is officially. 5. Since I started work again and she has one more week before kindergarten she is spending her week with grandparents. Today she spent the day with Bob's parents. They hit up Johnny Rockets for lunch.

She had a wonderful day being spoiled. It is hard to believe she is 5 and starting big kid school. Of course, I am excited because she will be in the same building with me all day. Her teacher is amazing and Ansley seems excited!

Snake!!! ( it must be told)

So I have been trying to decide whether or not to put this story on the blog. Well my pregnant brain says do it so here goes. Let me go ahead and apologize to my sweet son James.
One afternoon while at the beach I was giving James a bath. I stepped away to the closet in the bathroom to get a stool to sit on. I turn around and James is screaming snake. I am all kinds of confused. However, I look in the bath tub and there lies the snake! I can't help but laugh at my two year old crouched in the corner of the bathtub while the snake is floating around. Yes the snake came from his body. But man a snap glance at it and I would have thought it was a snake. I yell for my mom to come down and help. I didn't think my hands should clean that out due to the bean inside of me. My wonderful brave wilderness mom scooped that snake up and gave it graceful goodbye down the commode. Of course that was after she had a good chuckle. We got James out and cleaned him off. He was holding on to dear life on my moms leg saying snake. For the next day he reminded us of this snake. Still makes me laugh.
