Weekend

On Friday, Ansley, Frances, and I met Claudia and Addison at Monkey Joe's. They had a little kids play area separate from the big kids area. Ansley and the girls ran wild. Addison showed the girls how to be crazy in the jumpies. They all played so well together. Frances just loved hugging Addison. Ansley just enjoyed being a big girl and doing things all by herself without help. We will definitely have more fun at Monkey Joe's.
On Saturday, we went to Great Grandmas new home. Ansley was extremely confused on the ride down. She thought we were going to see "Ma Ma"(Long a sound) better known as Grandma. We told her no we are going to see Grandma. She then looked at us and said "I see Donna" which is Grand Donna (Can you tell she can't quite get the G sound down yet). I won't even tell you what she calls our dad's. Bob and I then realized we were confusing her so we told her Great Grandma Phyllis. She then gave up and wanted to watch Mickey Mouse. Once we got to Phyllis's home I think she somewhat understood. While we were there she warmed up to Grandma and thought it was so silly that we all would give Grandma hugs and kisses.

Big Girl Bed

Ansley loves sleeping in her big girl bed. Okay, so right now she is sleeping on a mattress on the floor. I am currently trying to finish painting her bed. I can mark transitioning to a big girl bed off my list of things to do before the new baby comes. All I have left is to potty train. Wish us luck!!

Disney

We made another trip to Disney last week. I can't tell you how much fun it was!! Ansley is at such a great age. She was a dream in the car...of course we watched the same Mickey Mouse clubhouse for the entire trip down. Luckily, on the way back we found one other clubhouse video "Mickey saves Christmas."
The first night we stayed with my sister Terri. Ansley made herself at home immediately. It helped that they have a pool and tons of lizards. She really enjoyed being around her cousins.
For the rest of the trip we stayed at Fort Wilderness. We were trying something different instead of staying in one of the hotels. What a great choice!! We shared a cabin with my dad. Ansley loved waking up and running in the living room to find Grandaddy.
We were able to cookout each night, play in the pool, and take walks to the trading post.
The first day we went to the Animal Kingdom. The animals were all out. Ansley loved the tigers.
She wasn't too sure of the safari ride or the Lion King show. She was more interested in looking at the animals on her own terms.
On Saturday, Bob and I took Ansley to the Magic Kingdom. This was definitely the best part of the trip. We got to see Ansley's true excitement about new things. She absolutely loved It's a Small World ride and Pooh's ride. We spent most of our time in Toon Town. Ansley loved Mickey's house. I didn't think we were going to get her out of there. She got to play on Mickey and Pooh's playground. She was a brave one when it came to meeting Mickey and Minnie. She didn't scream but wasn't too cool with being right next to them. We had such a great time. Bob and I were definitely not ready to leave. I would suggest to anyone planning on going to stay at Fort Wilderness in the cabins. It is a great place to have small children.

Another Lake Weekend

This weekend was all about the sunglasses. We went to the lake for another relaxing weekend. We got all the way up to the lake on Friday and realized that we had left our only key down in Atlanta. Bob made the good choice of not out right saying it was the pregnant woman's fault. Luckily, the guy that keeps the property was nice enough to bail us out. The moment we got to the house Ansley ran for the lake. She kept saying my water. She wanted to go on the boat so bad so Bob told her that she had to go to bed but when she wakes up she can go for a boat ride. So at 6:30 the next morning I hear her saying "Mommy, Daddy.. Boat ride."

It seemed like everytime we got into the boat Ansley fell asleep while driving the boat with Bob. Check out the funny picture of her.

One thing we did learn this weekend is not to feed Ansley raisins and then go play at the lake with just a bathing suit on!!!!
Wednesday is the day we hit the road to Disney!!! We will be camping out at Fort Wilderness.

Happy Father's Day

I had these pictures made for Bob for Father's day. The pictures were actually supposed to be of Ansley but she felt the need to pull a 2 year attitude so I had to join her.

This was actually the day that I almost lost my mind. I had the two girls. We went with my mom to get some cute pictures done however kids seem to have different plans. Ansley decided that this was not the day to get it done. After wanting to crawl out of the portrait place I took the girls to target to get some groceries and wait for the prints. Everything seemed to be going smooth up until the moment Ansley lost her mind. She had a "throw down, roll on the ground, kick her feet, screaming" fit in the middle of the store. It would have been funny but she had sticky hands from the lollipop I tried to bribe her with. You can only imagine how yummy her hands looked. After what seemed like forever, which was probably only 10 minutes Ansley got herself together and we moved on. Frances has a way of knowing how and when to really push Ansley's buttons so they got separated for the rest of the wonderful shopping experience. That was one of the moments that some of the people at target laughed and some gave me the eye.

We made it out alive and have learned from the fun.

Baby Crutchfield #2

This is the first picture around 9weeks. The yolk sack is still attached.


This is the most recent ultrasound at 13 weeks 6 days. The baby looks good. I like to call this picture the alien. It was really lazy during the ultrasound so they made me drink koolaid. That stuff just isn't as good as it use to be. I felt sick the rest of the day. However, that did jumpstart the baby. The next picture will be sometime in August. The debate is still open whether or not we are going to find out the sex. Either way you will know sometime around December 15.

Lake Weekend

Lake

This weekend we went up to the lake with the Vincent's. We had such a great time. Ella (2) and Andrew (4) are such well behaved children, that it was a very easy going weekend. Ansley and Ella became great friends. We spent most of our time on the boat. The kids loved going for rides. Andrew was the captain of the boat several times. We got to go tubing. Ella was the only little one that didn't mind tubing. The rest were a bit anxious. Bob was able to throw Jason off the tube once.
The lake water was perfect!! Nothing better than BBQ, good friends, and splinter in Ansley's feet.

While Caroline and Rusty are in Texas, Frances and Ansley are living it up with us. I tried to keep them busy so that there would be less throw downs. We went and saw Aunt Mary, who has recently moved to Alpharetta. Then the girls played in the plastic pool for a good hour. I have a great picture of the girls sitting on the potty, however I was told that I was not allowed to put it on the blog because the girls are naked.
