First swim meet

The future pirhannas had their first and last swim meet if the summer last night. Might be bias but Ansley kicked it all!! She did backstroke and freestyle. She is a good little backstroker! We are so proud of our big girl!! And of course as former swimmers super excited!!!

It looks a little blurry.. Pretty sure it is that way because it is 80 degrees in the house. Day 6 of no air conditioning on the main level. I am thinking about moving the baby pool in and filling it up with ice to keep cool!

Doc McStuffins

I do have to say that which ever kid did this did a pretty good job!!
Henry has been sleeping in a nap nanny since birth. I knew the day was coming that I would have to let him sleep flat. This time came at 6 am yesterday. While I was walking to his room to get him up he managed to roll out and sandwich himself between the bed and nap nanny. Some of you might be freaking out but I saw it
coming and was on my way. He was not happy but I can officially say he can roll over!! Here is a picture of the first time he slept flat. He did not sleep well kept burping so his mattress has some blankets under it on one side to give him a little relief. He is now sleeping well again and enjoying talking to the airplanes.

A great end to a weekend!

Father's day

6 months old!!

Henry's 6 month appointment was on Friday.


He thought the paper was fantastic! Of course he was a happy boy for Dr. Wilburn. He dis not so much like the nurse. The nurse needs to go back to nursing school to learn how to give shots. I think a snail could have done it faster.
He is still a growing boy. He weighs 20 pounds 1 oz which is in the 90%. His height is 27 inches (75%). And the one everyone is waiting to hear ... Head circumference 17 3/4 (88%). You may wonder how this compares to his siblings:
Ansley:
Weight: 16 pounds
Height: 26 inches
Head: 17 1/2 inches

James:
Weight: 19.9 pounds
Height: 27 1/2 inches
Head: 90%

As you can see Henry is following in his brothers foot steps. He still has a wonderful personality. Sleeps 11-12 hours. He turns into a pumpkin at 6:30 but can be held off until 7 by a bath! He enjoys eating dinner with the family. He finishes 2 things of baby food. He then squeals. He is talking tons. Growls and squeals. His favorite thing to do is still blow raspberries. He is not rolling over and I don't think that is on his plan. He loves his Johnny jumper and can sit up. He can't stand laying down. Both of my other two were this way. I predict he will be on the move soon! He still loves his siblings and of course his Aunt Caroline! My mom has decided that he is a mommas boy!

James is obsessed with boat rides. He has learned that the ski boat goes fast. He calls this the small boat. He constantly wants to be at the lake. His daddy eats this up!

Happy Fathers Day!!

Vacation Bible School!!!

My two kids and my sisters two went to St. Luke's to travel around the world to Mali. Yes we turned off the happy birthday princess song (much to James' dismay) and went flying in the sky to sing. We worked all week on trusting God and learning about the people in Mali and why they need mosquito nets. I was given the task of entertaining the kids with games all week. I can honestly say that we were all exhausted at night. The kids raised enough money to get 66 nets for the people in Mali.

We spent the weekend with 6 kids under 6 and can still live to tell about it.

This was suppose to be Henry's new vest but it doesn't fit around the neck luckily he has a petite cousin.








Contained. This girl hit an all time record of making laps around the cabin. Aunt Christine is lazy at the lake so this is where she landed on my time.

Only one trip to the minute, tons of boat rides, some fishing and swimming, numerous tattle tales, and many trips to the kitchen. I think that sums up the weekend. It is amazing how much food kids can consume.
James had a run in with the new dog so he and I spent time at the minute clinic Walmart. I do have to say that is the cleanest, fastest, and nicest minute clinic! Two antibiotics later and he is good to go.

We are going to have a loud house when Henry is on the go. I for see things being broken due to their need to wrestle and Ansley in the cross fire. Now that I am at home James believes that Henry is his best bud/ doll.
What would a day be without being a pirate!!

Fishing, fishing, and more fishing

We started off the fun weekend with a breakfast boat ride.









Last night the Crutchfield's had an open house for the new addition to the cabin. Everyone had a wonderful time. Henry did not enjoy all the new faces especially since he missed a nap. Usually I can just hand him off and he hams it up. As I learned last night when he is tired he is not his laid back self. However, the older two managed to behave and enjoy themselves. They liked helping Auntie fix the silverware that morning.
