To start off I must say happy 15 month to my tank. James showed Dr. Wilburn what a sweetheart he is. He also showed her that he has no problem with gross motor skills as he was scaling the drawers in the room. He is definitely ahead of his time!! He stats were 33inches in height which is 97 percentile, Weight at 25 pounds which is between 50-70th percentile, and of course that noodle is still 90th percentile. Smart and tall!! He is tearing apart the competition. Literally and figuratively. Since his twelve month appointment he has grown 3 inches, survived numerous ear infections, and started school. He is thriving in school and still enjoying his grandma. Grandma has become brave and has started going to the park and taking walks around the neighborhood. James is an outdoors boy (of course what boy isn't). He sees that door open or even hears the word and starts running. Lately his favorite thing to do is destroy the bushes in the front yard. I am thinking this year we are going to pass on flower beds. He absolutely loves Ansley. He can say the begining part of her name. He follows her everywhere and of course does everything she does. He even plays the role of Max from Max and Ruby very well. He can say "mama", "dada", "momo" (grandma), "o" for oscar, "bye bye", "Hi", "no more", "no", "d" for down. He also tells us stories that only Thomas seems to understand. He is growing and becoming such a funny guy.
What a great weekend. I took at half day on Friday and played with the kids and caught up with my best friend from childhood. Sarah lived two doors down and we did everything together. We use to play baseball in her front yard with a tennis ball. I am still surprised how we never broke a window, we of course had the winning relay in summer league swimming, and we were all over playing in the basement. It was heart breaking when she moved to South Carolina. We attended each others wedding but haven't really had time to sit down and chat. The BF connection was still there. We had a great time talking and playing around at the park today. I think the kids and I might be making a trip to Greenville during the summer.
I also managed to lay down 75 bails of pinestraw today. All while the kids were playing in the front yard. They had so much fun playing in water and running around. The dog has yet to move from the bed. The neighbor took Oscar for a walk today and Jonas had to bring him back early because the dog was too tired. We ended our night watching some basketball over at the Grant's. Below are some pictures from the weekend over at Caroline's. Caroline is taking a photography class so she is practicing on the kids.
