Growing like weeds

James is 16 months!!! At this very moment he is jumping off the fire place just like his sister taught him too. Thanks Ansley. He has grown so much this last month. He loves playing with his sister especially when it comes to daring things. Like jumping off stairs or running around the house. Cute but not cool if he gets hurt. He is really talking a bunch he will listen to me when I am telling him to do something. Now whether he wants to listen or not is another story.
He is obsessed with shoes. He can't handle it if your shoes are sitting next to your feet. Saturday I left my shoes in the living room. Bob had gotten up with him that morning and the bedroom door was closed. He had a melt down because he couldn't get in to give me the shoes.
The toddler tantrums have begun. It is too funny. He will just turn from me and stomp his feet. This is when I leave the room and he turns around to see the audience has left. Then he gives it up and moves onto something else. He has made it to timeout 2 times so far due to pulling hair.
10 cute things about a 16 month old:
1) They think you are still the greatest thing
2) 1 year old molars. Need I say more!!
3) New words: more, milk, banana, cracker, cookies, lollipop, peas, poop, pee
4) Can make a screaming fit look like nothing was ever wrong 10 seconds later
5) No fear
6) Mission: to jump off and climb anything in sight
7) Dancing looks like a bobble head figure on a dash board
8) Blowing kisses at anyone can get him anything
9) Going down the slide head first is the only way to go down!!
10) Playing in daddy's closet with the door closed is minutes of fun!

Now on to Ansley. She is growing like a weed. She is in size 10 shoes and XS clothes. Hard to believe. We are still thrilled with how much she loves school. I give all the credit to the wonderful people at Mt. Pisgah. I catch her all the time singing songs she has learned in chapel. She is able to almost spell her name. She has got the A, l, E, and Y down. She is doing good with the S and N. She loves the fact that James goes to school with her. They get to visit each other throughout the day.
Ansley still loves babies and can't get enough of them. She has all her baby dolls and stuffed animals named after all her baby friends...baby Hayes, baby Sarah.
Ansley is the greatest big sister!! She is so understanding when he pulls her hair or hits her. She gets upset when we have to put him in timeout. She is always watching out for him. She has that caring heart that is so special.
