We had a wonderful Easter. On Saturday we kicked Easter off with lunch at my brothers house. Unfortuantely, James learned about what danger a pool can bring. The familiy was all on guard with him due to the fact he doesn't understand what the big hole of water can do. We new it was only time before he took a dip. Bob and James were having a fight over a popsicle. James pullled one way and daddy went the other. James fell into the pool however, Bob was right there to pull him out. He was only under for probably 5 seconds. Five seconds of pure freak out time. This is exactly why a toddler should never be near a pool alone. Luckily no one freaked out and scared Ansley. Everyone recovered and took a sigh once he was dry and calm. I thank my husband and family for never taking there eye off him.
After nap time we had an Easter Egg hunt in our yard for the kids. I decided this year we would hid 10 eggs that were full of puzzle pieces. Once they are all found the puzzle would get put together. Ansley was involved all the way up until the puzzle got difficult. Oh well...next year.
Sunday the Easter bunny left the kids baskets outside...strangers are not allowed in the house...plus how would he get past the alarm. The kids found the baskets on the porch. Silly bunny!!! We had a wonderful church service and then endulged ourselves at the club with my parents. Thanks Dad!! It was of course the best. What a beautiful day full of Christ and family.
