Lake time
Memorial weekend was the first weekend at the lake. What a great way to start off the summer. Ansley made sure we went on breakfast cruises and after dinner cruises everyday. In fact, I think we spent more time on the boat than on land.
The lake wasn't exactly warm. But she got daddy and grandad in.

Catch up... James
First I must tell you that I found out this week that my thyroid is stable!!! Doc is upping my meds so my thyroid will be on the high side because I am pregnant. But good news!
On to my little man James! He has become quit the talkative toddler. He has also taken after some of Bob's traits. Last week James was struggling with time. He was waking up at all hours. It started off with one night bob not being able to sleep so he decided to watch tv in living room which somehow James heard him and came trotting down stairs at 1:30 am. He immediately began taking on his morning routine. By the time Bob had realized this his show was loud and moved to the man pit. James was asking for Jake and juice. I immediately called down to my love and sent the boys packing while I returned to sleep. For three more nights James would wake up thinking that he was missing out on life. Bob had to bring him down and show him that everyone was asleep. He immediately went back to sleep. Like father like son.
Recently, James has taken up a friendship/love with the dog. He wrestles with Oscar, lays on him, and follows him around. Oscar is so patient and allows James to do anything to him.
It is still amazing to me how a two year old can go from being a polite sweet faced child to an anger management problem. It is so hard not to laugh. One funny thing he says now when trying new food... "I can't like it." Then he says yuck. However the rule in our house is you must try a bite per year of age. This rule works fairly well!! Thank you supernanny!!

So I am falling behind on my blog. I haven't been feeling so great (thanks to #3). I am now 11 weeks and think I am almost over the hump!!!

This week was Ansley's last week at Mt.Pisgah. Sad!! Mt. Pisgah is definitely not a daycare. I am going to miss her getting chapel, bible study, karate, music, Spanish, and ballet. The teachers are amazing. She has learned so much. Ansley started out at Goddard when she was two and it broke my heart everyday to leave her crying knowing she was stuck in a small boring room. Needless to say I pulled her and we headed to cousin Frances' school. All the rooms model after a learning setting. The three and four year old rooms are modeled after kindergarten rooms. They leave to go to chapel and ballet. They even go on field trips and to the happy lab twice a month. I can't wait to post the portfolio her teacher gave us. So look for that this week. As the summer begins, so does camp. This week she will be going to St. Lukes for bug camp!
My mom gave Ansley a Roly poly from her yard two weeks ago. She kept it in her Easter basket so we all know where this is leading. The bug crawled out in the middle of the night. At 5 am we had a screaming 4 year old in our room. Not fun! So we got two more in a bug box. They managed to stay alive for 6 days until cousin Thomas made their home a swimming pool. Not good. They are still sleeping. Luckily, they are free to replace!! We had the speech on how to be a responsible 4 year old with her pets.

We are up at the lake for the long weekend. We headed to eat out at LaPrades for lunch. The kids are exhausted because they are having such a good time. At lunch we had some tears over a pinwheel. Ansley went for a walk with GranDonna to get her some fresh air. They went to the dock store and played around. GranDonna told her to pick out one toy. She went over and picked out one for James instead of herself!! She is such an awesome big sister.
Funny story
While sitting on the porch tonight Ansley was telling me all about this fly that is stuck in the lantern. She told me it was dead. I said so sorry. She said "I didn't dead it." Meaning, I didn't kill it.

Ansley's baby updates and cravings
It has been a while since I have blogged. This third pregnancy is not as much fun as the last two. I have finally accepted the fact that I am pregnant and we will be having another baby come December. So the tears have dried up and I am not in denial anymore. However, it feels like the stomach flu keeps following me. The sickness seemed to end exactly on week eight. Then 9 weeks and 3 days hit and I was back down. Luckily, my doc gave me some pills to help cure the nauseous feeling that floats around with me. I think the summer will help with this because I won't be going all day like I do at work. Keep your fingers crossed!!!
I do have to make sure I blog about the weird cravings. I always seem to crave meat when I am pregnant. So that is nothing weird(however five guys can make me feel better instantly). Lunch the other day consisted of pickles, carrots with ranch, and salsa and chips. Tortilla dipper chips help with the salt craving. Lemonade and lemon heads help with the nauseating feeling. Chocolate is no good right now!! Pickles go well anytime and with anything. Pizza is good. So needless to say... My healthy diet is out the window right now. The good news is I haven't gained much weight from eating like a junky. Summer is around the corner and the kids and I look forward to getting out and moving around and hopefully kissing the first trimester out the door along with this yucky feeling!!
Ansley is still super pumped and can't keep her hands off my belly. She makes sure she gives me a kiss and the baby a kiss before I leave. She makes sure everyone knows we are having a baby. She is getting the concept that this journey will be long. I walked in in her taking to God today asking him for a baby boy. Too cute. Yesterday she wanted to name the baby Bon. Needless to say she will nit be included in the naming process. She went with me to work today for kindergarten testing. On the way she informed me that it is ok if the baby sleeps in her room. She will get up with her at night and feed her. Such a sweet caring big girl!

Kindergarten orientation
Today was my babies first taste at kindergarten. Not many people get to enjoy going to work and bringing their kids. Thankfully I am that blessed. Ansley and I headed out this morning and made one stop at my friendly BP who actually know me. As soon as we got to school she went skipping in. Addison and Katie were there and Ansley was at home. She got to hang out in my room and do circle time with my kids.
She enjoyed the tour of the school. We got to go in a kindergarten room which was Addison's classroom. Here is a picture of Addison showing Ansley around the room.
After today, Ansley is super excited to join the Apple family!!

Surprise!!!
This can only mean one thing...round 3. Not sure I Handled the news as well as Bob did. Evidently, being two weeks late and nauseous is not a side effect of thyroid medicine. At the end of last year I found out that my thyroid was barely working. The doctors have gotten my medicine almost perfect. It is obviously working now and I am really fertile (according to my OB). I have been on birth control but my doctor reminded me that my pill is only 92% effective. So putting all that together here I am pregnant and finally accepting this little blessing. I am 8 weeks and due on 12/16 which happens to be James birthday. Dr. Siegel did inform me that they will induce me a week early. The baby looked good and the heart beat was at 164. Now if I could just get back all my baby stuff and maternity clothes I gave away to charity over the last year!! All we have left is the crib. Luckily, Hannah will be almost a year when this one is born and she can give h new cousin some stuff!
