Bathroom pictures

I am close to being done with decorating the boys bathroom. Of course I had to dress them up and get my sister over with her camera!

So big!

Guess who learned how to do so big today (no Bob already knows:))



Thanks to big sister he is able to do so big even with graham cracker soaked hands! Did I mention he is getting his top teeth in! So the massive amount of saliva he is losing is unreal! He still amazes me on how well he handles the pain of teething. These teeth seem to be painful to him. He cries when he eats so right now he is preferring graham crackers and milk. One has popped through so hopefully he will be better soon. Otherwise he does want to be cuddled more than normal which I really don't mind!
I am currently on a mission to finish decorating the boys bathroom. I am almost there!




Mirrors are roped and towels are done (thanks Kim for making them! Check her out on Facebook Lada-loo!!) I am trying to finish curtains and the other decor! Stay tuned!

Baby pictures!

Finally have all three of my babies ready to hang on the wall! Of course Henry has to be the one to pose different but each of these pictures shows how different each kid is!

It has been a while since I have blogged. Now that school is back in full swing we are busy! I have been doing some part time work with Autistic kids! A great way for me to be at home with my babies and still enjoy what I am passionate about! Enough about me what have my monkeys been up to...
Ansley is loving school. She has made a best friend in her class and is really enjoying riding the bus with the neighborhood kids. She has become our little author! Here is a work sample from school that I have archived in her photo book.




I went to have lunch with she and Frances and had a blast. Her teacher ended up asking me to come back and read to the class. I got a chance to see how wonderful the kids are and how much Henry loves her teacher! While I was in the room the inclusion kids came in so that was a treat. Ansley's school
Has a huge special education department which I love! I can't wait to get involved with that! Ansley has joined a daisy troup with some girls in her grade and has started gymnastics! It is nice to see her so excited about school and friends!
James just started preschool. He is at the same school just the half day program! He is coming home and telling me all about the fun they have in circle time and the playground! He got to take the show and tell bag home this weekend! Of course he was ready to go back to school on Saturday and was very upset that it is a long weekend! Here is a picture of his family that he drew at school. His teacher was very impressed by the detail he used! Henry is the big person and the rest of us only get smaller!




He has suddenly become a side talker. He gets into his pirate mode and talks out of the side of his mouth! His new phrases are "that will take four hours" or "it is taking four hours." He still says "I can't like it." Bob brought me home ice cream tonight and James told him he was a rock star!
Henry is on the move. He is crawling everywhere and always on a mission. Whether he is unplugging the cable box or pulling down books, he is always focused!








He is pulling up and checking out his balance all the time. He has learned to how to fall without too much pain!




(Before you freak out I was right there with him he was not going to be harmed!)
When his siblings aren't entertaining enough he let's them know with an ear piercing scream! Of course they come running! He wants nothing to do with being an only child. He enjoys babbling and trying new foods. He prefers table food but will still eat baby food. He goes for his 9 month check up in a couple weeks!

Ansley turns 6

Ansley was over the top pumped to turn 6 this year especially since her birthday was during the school year!! She was on cloud 9 when she got off the bus! She continued until her head hit the pillow! That night we celebrated with family. She wants a friend party so we are waiting until September to have her classmates and friends over.
Caroline got her a strawberry shortcake necklace that she loves! She also received some Doc Mcstuffins gear and Barbie dolls. This was the best birthday yet she says!

First day of school!!

I can't believe school has already started! Ansley and James had been up since at least 6 am waiting for the school bus to come. She put her backpack on around 7 and the bus didn't arrive until 8:15. Around 8:10 she finally decided it was really heavy and took it off just in time for the bus to come around the corner. She was a completely different child than last year. No tears just excitement!




Grandma even came to see her off on her first bus ride!




James was too interested in the Rollie pollies to join the picture. But he is in the background! Can you tell Ansley was ready to be done with pictures.

She summed up her day as awesome.
I asked her about her day; this was what she liked about it:
- she has her own desk.
- they get to go to the bathroom in the hallway with a partner.
- at recess she got to swing.
- she can't wait for Spanish tomorrow.
It is funny what kids pick out of their day! She is ready to go back tomorrow with just as much excitement.

The fun continues!

Henry has taken his first move to be like the big kids. I left him with my mom on Friday for a couple hours and I come back to Henry
army crawling. I got a video of it this morning. He is now getting mad when he can't quite get it together to move.



This is the result of mommy pouring applesauce on his tray. He loved it!!


This last week Ansley was able to visit her new neighborhood school and meet her teacher. She was of course timid and overwhelmed but as we left she saw some friends and relaxed a little.


This weekend she found out just how much she loves rock climbing. She went to Addison's birthday and had a blast!









She would not give up!
James starts school on Monday too. He will be at his old school until mid august and then starts half day preschool!!! He is at the good age of loving to help me out with anything! The greatest thing he says these days is "I can't know how." He has the sweetest voice when he says this.



This weekend we celebrated our nephew Logan who graduated from Georgia Tech with high honors in civil engineering.



When they headed to graduation we headed next door to Fellini's pizza!








We ended Saturday with the kids participating in the Olympics! I have to give Liz all the credit for putting together the best kids Olympics. My three had a blast!
