Camp Christian- Genesis

This year I got to take Ansley to the camp I so dearly loved and have so many wonderful memories. The first year of camp is called Genesis. Each child must have a parent go with them. The best part for me was that two other Moms that I went to camp with have girls Ansley's age. Pretty sure I was more excited than Ansley!! Camp has changed a bit since I went there. They have an air conditioned lodge and mess hall now. When I went we had zero air conditioning! Genesis gets to stay at the front of the camp in the air. We had many chances to paddle boat, canoe, swim, do arts and crafts, and the girls even managed to sneak in a pillow fight. The two ladies running the camp were Mama Pam and Mama Marilyn. Theses to amazing ladies were our camp mamas so it was even more special for us! The last night at camp the girls were night owls while the boys were in bed early. The girls decided to have a sleepover. So we moved all their sleeping gear into one room. After numerous pillow fights, squeals, Two teeth pulled (Frances), and jumping on and off beds the girls settled down for the night and abandoned the sleep over for the safe haven of their mamas rooms. I am proud to say mine was the first one to bail!

James has been drawing a face this week. He adds w's around the face. I love how he is so specific about everything!


Free entertainment at Pikes Nursery! Too bad it was over 90 degrees and crazy humidity.


After being good at a photo shoot I had to pay up with a bribe:) My sister and niece Lauren and her fiancé Nick were all at the mall so we were able to play with them and eat lunch!























Another tooth lost. She has been working on this third tooth since May.


Henry tries kix today. The dog had a yummy snack. Henry was very interested in them but wasn't sure what to do with them.

A little bit of Pinterest

This week I went to a pinterest party!! So much fun and such a great time with other women! We sampled I think 29 different foods! The next morning at boot camp was sickening!
So I went around the house and took pictures of the fun I have had!



The playroom! The room was split down the middle for decoration purposes.

Laundry/mud room
This is for each kids dirty laundry. I wrote with a visa vi on the front with their names. It has made such a difference.

I have done some sewing and gotten some awesome online patterns! Once the basement is back in one piece I will get some pictures up of the outfits!

A week in pictures

Ok so I have to add a little bit of text!
We made the best Popsicles thanks to pinterest. We pureed kiwi, blueberries, and strawberries. Heated water and sugar and then split between the three mixtures. My kids loved them!!








Then I battled with American home shield again only to find out it was not the hot water heater but the air conditioner pump. However, I got all of my anger against AHS out from the last run in! We fixed the pump and hopefully have new carpet on the way!

This week I started trying to pull up! I have tried to explain to him that he needs to crawl first but I am pretty sure he will follow in his brothers footsteps!
