Another girl fallen for the fireman!!

Okay so the firemen are out doing boots for burns. Ansley is in the back of the car yelling firetruck. So I give her a dollar and then roll down her window. The fireman walks up and I am hoping Ansley doesn't freak out and throw the dollar bill. She ends up getting a giddy grin and giving it to him. He gave her two stickers and stole her thoughts for the next hour. She was so excited!!
On the other hand. I think that we are on the verge of being the rednecks of the neighborhood. Ansley's new thing is standing on her old training potty in the middle of the front yard singing into her make shift microphone. Yes it is a grand sight. She even gave Grand Donna a show yesterday. What makes this story even better is that I was outside planting flowers with the kids (and of course my mom). Ansley needed to go to the bathroom and I was nasty and not about to go inside. So I pulled the potty out. Being one step ahead of that idea I pulled the cup out and let the pee go onto the driveway so I didn't have to clean it out. Yep, gross but no cleaning required. Awesome!!!

My favorite little people!

Today James learned how to scream. He lives for his sister. Ansley can just glance at him and he will giggle. Today my mom and I were sitting in the living room talking and James was high pitched screaming at his catepillar floor mat. Of course Ansley was laying right next to him. She came running up to him and just gave him a big hug today and told him she loved him. Too cute!! I think she might be the best big sister ever. My mom picked her up from school today and showed mom and James off to everyone that would listen to her. She woke up this morning not wanting to go to school. She wanted to go to Frances school. She still thinks of Mt. Pisgah as a dream I think!! I have to keep reminding her that it is her school too. Now if she would just stop stumbling on the driveway. She took another spill today. Luckily nothing to bad..just a few scratches. I was all excited about getting the playset this month and then I realized she could actually break bones on that thing. I guess she will have to wear knee pads, wrist pads, arm guards, and the helment.

This has been a week for booboo's. I now know why my mom used to get so annoyed with my ability to walk. Ansley has fallen each day and scraped various parts of her body. There is a new rule in the house... Ansley must wear her helmet when she is playing outside. I swear that helmet has saved several trips to the ER this week. She came home with one incident report from school. I made sure the school knows we are good parents.

James rolled over two times today for my mom. It is so nice to be able to let him play on the floor flat on his back. Ansley was never allowed on her back. He is growing and becoming such a character. He loves my dad. Just can't get enough of him. He also really enjoys laughing at Ansley. She walks past him and he just starts giggling. We went to his four month checkup and he weighs 17 pounds and is 241/4 inches long. He is mostly in the 70-80% and for the head 90%. He is currently wearing size 3 diapers and 9 month clothes. He is a big boy but so stinking cute!!! I have to send a congrats note out to my friend Kim who just had a baby boy named Hayes!!!! I think Hayes might be joining the big boy club. He came in at 8 lbs 3 oz. Way to go Airhart Family.

GT Spring Game

We went down for the Spring game today. We had such a great day!! Ansley and James had a blast. James slept the game away and Ansley cheered and played the whole time. We got to go on the field after the game to play. Of course, Ansley loved running up and down the field. We ended up spending most of our day playing at Georgia Tech today. What a great family day! Unfortuantely, Ansley did not want to get in the family pictures. I think we got her hands in one of the pictures.

Post Spring Break

We are getting back into a post spring break routine. I have offically given up on giving James Breast milk. He is completely on formula. I came to this conclusion due to the fact that he pukes and has gas like none other. I can't do anything abou the pucking..he gets it honestly from Bob. However, there is something in my diet that does not agree with his belly. I can't take anything else away I am pretty much down to rice and chicken. The guilt is way to much. It has almost eaten me up. So hopefully these hooter looking boobs will disappear soon.!!!
Ansley now calls bedtime pacey time. It is too funny. While we are at home she will occasionally ask for me to pick her up so she can see her pacey in the box. It is so sad but funny at the same time. I have to say I thought this process would be a lot more painful. It was a little bit painful when I was in the car with her for an hour.. I think she cried for 85% of the ride. Yep tons of fun!! But she pulled through and made it. I think she grew an inch.
