So I have been lazy about blogging lately. I have just been slammed with work stuff. I am slowly catching up with everything and not having to bring as much work home. The kids are doing great. I had to take Ansley tot he doctor this week because she can't stop itching her arms and legs. Not sure what is going on. I did find sand in her bed on Saturday. I realized that she took her shows off from school and the entire sandbox was in her shoes. Mother of the year didn't realize it until Saturday. Who knows what kind of nastiness was in there. I immediately cleaned everything. She doesn't have a rash or anything she is just clawing herself. She is on allegra and aveno bathes right now. Hopefully it will work. I am giving it one more day. Other than that she is such a fun chick. School has taught her to say yes ma'am and no sir. I love how she tells me the reasoning to everything. Hopefully I will get some video of this soon.
James is a mess. He is still not moving physically but mentally he thinks he can walk. He is pulling up on everything and standing. He even thinks he can jump like Ansley. He is crawling backwards but really has no interest in it. One of his favorite things right now is to talk to Bob on the phone. It is so cute!!! He has a soft spot for his grandparents(both sides). He just gets so excited.
I have decided that moving day is upon us with in the year. I am ready to move into a good school system. One of the main things is to get out of our neighborhood. I am done with our HOA system. We have the perfect house just not the perfect spot. HOA is full of crazy power hungry people. Now some of you would say they are just trying to keep the neighborhood nice...whatever... don't want to hear it. There has been a house in our cul de sac that has been full of rats and weeds with stucco falling off for 4 years now. How dare they come to me and tell me that this one spot in my yard needs turf or pinestraw. It is in the woods. I asked them to tell me where it states in the by laws. Oh thats right it doesn't. Move onto bigger and more important details like the rat house. That is my say for the day. Have a great night..cheers.

What a fun weekend. Ansley and I got to go to Dora the Explorer live at the Fox theatre with Addison. We had so much fun. Ansley was too cute. She was laughing and telling Dora where to go. It was so funny. Of course she was dancing. Her style of dancing is jumping up and down. It helped that we had awesome seats up front.






Here are some cute pictures of James that I took yesterday. He wasn't in to smiling due to the fact that he can't stand grass. I haven't photo shopped the pictures yet. I will post better ones later this week. As I was about to take Ansley's pictures she fell of a lawn chair and busted her lip and chin. So maybe some time this week I will get some good ones.

Before I replay the conversation Bob and I had with Ansley as we were putting her to bed, let me set the stage. Early in the evening I had asked her if she would let me come play at her school. She said of course. She was going to let me have a cot to sleep on during nap and I could ask the teacher if I needed help putting my blanket on. So I was having her replay the conversation with Bob at bedtime.
Mommy: Tell daddy what you are going to let mommy do at school?
Ansley: Take a nap on a cot.
Daddy: Wow can I have one too.
Ansley: (turns to daddy and says) you can have a cot (Bob will not allow me to write what she really said). She got the ending wrong and put a ck.
We started laughing hysterically. She thought it was so funny that we were laughing. It was a cute 3 year old moment.
James has been on a mission this past week!! To WALK. He has little interest in crawling. He has learned to pull up on things this week. Then he thinks that he can let go and walk. That is the part he does not get. It is only a matter of time before he figures it out.
Funny news to report is that Caroline's 18 month old is only a half pound bigger than James. Poor Thomas his cousin will be able to give him hand me downs soon.

3 year old check up

It is nice as Ansley gets older her Doc appointments get shorter and less eventful. She was such a big girl at the pediatrician. The only time she got a little freaked out was when they put the blood pressure machine on her arm. That was a little scary to her. She talked to Dr. Wilburn like such a big girl. She weighs 34lbs and is in the 90th percentile. She is in the 80th percentile in height. I did take the plunge this time; we got the Flu mist. We have been fine so far. Ansley didn't even cry. Of course the lollipop helped that situation.
This weekend has been pretty uneventful which is nice. I did run the side view mirror into the garbage can and it is now riding inside the car on the floor. It was only a matter of time before this happened. So I am off to Honda carland this week. Awesome!!! Still wouldn't trade my van for anything. The minivan is God's gift to moms and dads (and grandparents).
We do need to congratulate Logan and Celia on their engagement!!!!!! We are so excited for both of you.

Update

My blogging has been very sparatic lately. School is keeping me busy! For those of you that don't know I switched schools. I am still with North Metro but at our other Elementary school. It was time for a change. I love being there but unfortunatly I was unable to take my assistants. I didn't realize how lucky I was to have such great assistants and to be able to be good friends at the same time. So I am having to adjust to not having that with me all day. I have a great group of kids. It is wierd having kids that talk. It is always nice to hear "shit" first thing in the morning. Hopefully I will get back in my mode of thinking behavior style soon! Too much summer.
My babies are doing great. Ansley is having a blast at school full time. She is getting spanish, music, P.E., and Ballet now. The amount of tuition I am paying she better be getting all that stuff. At dinner every night I ask her what her favorite thing she got to do at school that day is. Today she told me she got to play the computer. She still refers to Mt. Pisgah as her new school even though she has been there since January.
James is a mess. He has it in his head that he can walk. He likes to stand and hold on to his saucer. He doesn't quite get that you can't let go if you can't walk. He can stand for about 10 seconds. We have been trying to work on crawling but he just rolls over and gets mad. He is pulling up on me when I am sitting on the floor. I know I am not suppose to want him to walk so soon but biggin wants to move and is taking it out on the rest of us when he can't. I think the cutiest thing at this age is how excited he gets when Ansley or I walk into the room. It is hysterical. It is really neat to see how he just worships her and how she just loves him. She can't wait to see him in the morning. If he isn't with me to wake her up she asks where he is....heart melting.

Happy 3rd Birthday Ansley!!!!!!!

Today was Ansley 3rd Birthday!! What a great day. This was the best birthday party yet!!! It was so much fun to see all the little girls swimming and eating together.
It baffles my mind how much she has changed over a year.
1) Big one...Potty trained!!
2) Can write the letter A
3) Has a great imagination and can play pretend.
4) Got the best present for Christmas...a baby brother!! She is the best big sis. At her birthday GranDonna was carrying James to the car for me and Ansley was saying her goodbyes.She politely told GranDonna that she can't take James home he has to go home with her.
5) Loves to watch Disney movies!!
These are only a couple things she has done over the year..believe me I could go on all night. I will save you that ramble. We are so proud of our "goose" and are blessed to have such a beautiful and smart daughter.
