Saturday
Today we went to the Grant's pool and had a blast. Ansley, Frances, and Parks all went off the diving board while Thomas relaxed in the shaded area of the pool.
Today Ansley learned that she can explore her room during nap time. The fun part of this story is we got to see her through the video monitor the whole time. I finally realized after and hour that she had taken her diaper off and was trying to put it back on. Luckily, she had not peed in her bed. After being in her room for over 2 hours she finally decided that it was time to sleep. I went upstairs because I kept hearing these people talking. Ansley had switched her CD to the Spanish channel on the radio. She had also taken all of her clothes out of her dresser and put them so nicely on the rocking chair. Lucky for me I don't keep all of her clothes in there. When she woke up she was so excited about putting them on the chair for me.
Being the pool rats we are we took her back to the pool this evening for a swim and grill out. She got to play with Sean and his cousins. I think she really enjoyed watching all the kids jump off the board. However, she wasn't about to jump off of it tonight.

The Love between Oscar and Mya
From the moment we got home from the Lake, Mya couldn't stop loving on Oscar. She made sure to give him a good bath especially the ears. 
July 4th at Lake Burton
Another wonderful 4th of July. Ansley did not get to see the fireworks because she has a bedtime. She of course loved being at the lake. We let the hot tub get down to 98 degrees so Ansley could feel what heaven is like. She of course called it a baby pool.
We went to the new LaPrades Marina to eat on Sunday however, Ansley decided that she would partake of the food with her life jacket on. It is funny how kids change in a year. Last year we couldn't get the jacket on her without a throw down fit and this year she won't take it off.

Happy Fourth of July
We are spending the 4th of July at Lake Burton. No I didn't run the Peachtree this year. It was extremely painful to watch on TV. I will be there next year. I will run a race in February and get a time so I can start at the front. Mark my word I will be a runner in the Peachtree next year. Nothing like missing the hundreds of smelly portapotties, the runners that you pass that smell like they bathed in the portapotties, and of course the free donuts and beer. But most of all the insane lines for the portapotties along the course which force you to squat behind a bush (thanks Bohnet for the wonderful lessons).
Enough of my pity party. Ansley slept the day away like the rest of us so it is 9 o'clock and she is still talking in her bed. All week I have been trying to get Frances in a potty routine. So I have two potties so that Ansley will hopefully want to join her. However, this week Ansley didn't show any signs of noticing Frances sitting on the potty. You would think the amount of times I run to the restroom throughout the day with my two sidekicks in the tiny half bathroom she would seem interested. But it is more fun to play with the toilet paper. So of course the moment we get to the lake Ansley starts telling me she needs to poop (she uses poop for pee too, we are working on the explanation). Hopefully, Monday she will still be interested.
