Someone remind me again why we have two beds in Ansley's room?



And if you are wondering they have separate rooms but sleep in Ansley's room. 50% of the time they end up in the same twin bed.

Someone has a crush

Last night was our last sundaes in July at church. Mrs. Catherine Anne did a wonderful job telling a Godly play parable. Henry sat and listened for a bit which is a rarity these days!
James is smitten by the preachers daughter. They are the same age and seem to have the cutest friendship.



When we went to sit down James came over and asked if he could go sit next to Sarah. So he pulled himself up a chair next to her!


Before we went to church Ansley and I went to Kelley's wedding shower. Ruth did an amazing job with everything. Ansley had a blast. She got to be a judge and help with presents. Her eyes were huge every time she looked at the candy bar! The theme was wizard of oz and it was done very well! The decor was classy and the food was delicious!

This definitely topped her day off. Ethan is such a sweet baby so Ansley melted when she was given the chance to hold him!

Can't stop it..

We are on vacation this week up at the lake. Of course I have tons of pictures but failed to bring my connector to my iPad. I know you are desperately waiting to see them! Caught Henry snoozing on the boat with my iPhone!

Veggies!!

This spring we planted some veggies in some big pots hoping some would make it. Squash did not work well. Our cherry tomatoes have been delicious!! Cucumbers are almost ready to eat! All the spices are out of control. The carrots have done ok! They are little but sweet!
We are in the process of planting a new crop of carrots which should look like golf balls. My sister in law gave us some so we are gonna try our hand at them! Here is the harvest from today.






James pulled the biggest carrot we have had. It was the size of my pinky!

Fun times

I new that today would be rough because all the kids had a long weekend since we all were out of town. I planned a field trip so the kids hopefully would have more to do than fight or tattle tale! The morning started out with Thomas and James racing around the racetrack aka the backyard. However they amped it up with googles this morning.



Wish I had a picture of Thomas too! Then we headed to East Roswell Sprayground! The plus for Ansley was that Mt. Pisgah Prek was there too so she got to see Ms Rhea!!
Henry absolutely loved the spray park!
Tons of sprinklers and lots of puddles.


Everyone behaved and enjoyed themselves! The kids worked for getting a trip to yogurt land. So after rest time we added up the points and headed out!






I even managed to make Ansley a dress today!

Tonight was Ansley's swim banquet! She received the most improved award for 6 and under! We are so proud of our girl! Her last meet she dropped 5 seconds and was piranha of the week!!

Lauren's Wedding part 1

My oldest niece Lauren got married this past weekend. We were able to head down early to St. Pete and catch some awesome fireworks with the family!!! The next day we headed to Tampa for the start of the festivities. We stayed in Ybor City in a hotel that was on the ghost tour.  This hotel use to be a hospital and evidently the morgue in the basement is haunted. Needless to say I did not make it down there. The hotel was rather perfect for this occassion. We had it all to ourselves! It was nice to walk out of our room and be surrounded by everyone. Since we only had Ansley we had a lot of freetime. She hung out with the Bridal party or as she calls them the "big girls." 

Ansley could always be found in one of my nieces arms which there are 5 of the older girls! She was pumped. This is Jennifer my sisters youngest who just turned 21!!

 The rehearsal dinner was in the hotel which worked out well so the girls could go upstairs and sleep when it got to late. From left to right...Caroline, Jennifer, Tom (brother), Katherine(niece), Leanne (niece), Paige (niece), and Mom. Yes I have the most beautiful nieces!!

 We headed to Harbor City for lunch and got to see a wakeboarding competition.
