That's a wrap

Another successful fun year of VBS! The kids had a blast learning about weird animals and even if your different, don't understand, if you are afraid, or left out Jesus Loves you! This was Henry's first year to participate. He had a blast. He learned some cool dance moves to the songs!!! What better to help with his language development!!






The decorations were out of this world!!!





She will take any chance she gets to love on him!

Prek graduation

James' prek graduation was today. It was nice to see all the kids perform. James was so pumped to show off his singing! He said he has been practicing all year. Such a sweet boy.

Authors tea

Ansley's class had an authors tea today. Each child shared a written work that they had done throughout the year. Ansley's was a fiction story about a Leprachon.

I can't believe her second grade year is coming to a close! Ansley has had a wonderful year. Her teacher has pushed her out of her comfort zone and really gotten Ansley to open up! Hopefully her third grade teacher and year will be just as blessed!

Mothers Day!!

We had a wonderful weekend! On Saturday Ansley and I along with my Mom, sister and her girls went to our the yearly Tea party with Peachtree Christian at Ansley Country Club. This year we were asked to wear pearls, gloves, and hats. So of course we went all out!!
The first person we saw was the beloved Nancy Oliver!

Mother's Day continued

Saturday evening we celebrated with Bob's mom. Bob made some amazing steaks. On Sunday we celebrated with my mom. The kids made me breakfast in bed! After being left alone to eat and veg out for an hour we got ready for church! It was children's ministry Sunday. All the kids 1-4 ran the service. It was so perfect for Mother's Day!

Staycation

We have had such a wonderful staycation! We visited the Artbarn Tuesday (I took those pictures with my big camera so I will post those when we get home), Wednesday went for a hike, Friday the zoo, and this weekend the Warrior dash at the lake!
We managed to get to the zoo at 9:15. We had front row parking and didn't have to wait in line. Getting there so early we beat the crowd and had a pleasant time! All the animals were our playing and eating. The pandas were sleeping but the rest of the zoo was enjoying the weather. We were able to see all the lion cubs rolling around!!!

























Lots of babies playing around and hanging on to their mommy's. Loved having the opportunity to see them so close!


Know we are at the lake ready to take on the warrior dash for the third year in a row!! Bring on the mud!

Hiking and exploring

Today we went to Audrey Mill nature preserve! Mom and I took James, Henry, and Thomas. We had a blast checking out the turtles, frogs, and ducks! We went on to explore the historic grounds and then hiked the trails. So much fun and it is so close! Can't wait to go back.
