T-ball
James played T-ball at PCBC this year. So convient and familiar since that is his preschool too!! James had a great time hitting the ball and running the bases. He even manage to squeeze in a little fielding too. Since it has been raining so much this spring our season went a little longer. His last game was Tuesday!

Girls weekend
I have been wanting to get some girlfriends together for a couple years now. Finally the time had come for us to leave our little ones behind and skip town for a weekend at the lake! It rained all weekend but did not stop us from enjoying time away. We took the boat out, went hiking, crashed an open house, watched movies, ate, read people as US magazines, and talked all without interruptions!!
Loved spending time with all of you!

Saturday we went hiking at Tallulah Falls.
Scary stairs!!
When you crash an open house on the market for $10 million you take pictures in the shower, bathtub, and wine cellar.
Melissa is a shorty but these shelves are massive!
Rain doesn't stop us! In the middle of our booze cruise we had some drizzle so mom decided to take one for the team while the rest of us ate under cover.
Happy 21st birthday to my niece Jennifer!!! We had a couple margaritas for you!

Boys
Our two boys are a hoot! James is extremely sensitive yet loves to rough and tumble. He is the first to sit in your lap. He can fall asleep in the car in a matter of minutes.
And he has his own sense of style. Yes that is a sock on his hand.
He can ham it up in his hats!
James love his big sister. She was sick last week so he gave his stuffed animals to her so she would hurry up and feel better. He nightly has his bags packed to go to the lake. He loves exploring my parents yard. He reminds me daily that our bird feeder is nothing compared to Grandma's. During quiet time you can always find him sitting next to Oscar with his arm around him.
Henry seems to be similar but taking a slightly different route. He wants to be with the big kids at all times. He has them wrapped around his pinky. He hangs from anything. He is getting heavy enough that it is not working so well especially the dishwasher. It is starting to fight back and he is not taking no for an answer. The sink is the next best thing.
He can find anything to keep himself busy.
And more climbing...
He will break out in a dance anywhere. His signature move is an arm pump.
And still more dare devil stunts.
Staying home with these two has been the best decision we have ever made. Daily I get to stop and listen to the giggles, the screams, and the playful moments. It is such a blessing. Teaching kids will always be there but cherishing every moment of my kids childhood is something that I will always be thankful for!!!

This has to be put in the record book as the best Mother's Day yet! Bob took over all responsibilities for the kids all weekend. On Friday I was able to trick Ansley into telling me what she got me. Yes that sounds cruel but she needs to learn to not slip up like her mommy always did. I caught her in a moment of weakness. The kids got me a James Avery cross ring!! So excited.
On Saturday Ansley and I went with my mom and sister to our annual Mother's Day brunch at Ansley Country Club (no she was not named after that club). The girls are old enough now to sit through the entire event and act like ladies. Such a blessing.
On Sunday we went to lunch with my Mom at Rivermont CC.
We ended the day with a cookout at home with Bob's mom. After a wonderful meal we headed to yogurt land.

Blue: Not the best choice
Blue Popsicle anyone??? Looking back not the best choice I have made today. This was before soap and water.
After. Guess he won't be going out in public tomorrow! Not only are his lips blue, neck, and all the way to his knees but he fell on the concrete and has a raspberry on his forehead.

Pictures!
This kid never stops exploring!!
Walk to school day. We are lucky enough to live 1.5 miles roughly from school. Along with most of the neighbors and surrounding neighborhoods we piled the kids in the stroller and walked!! The only thing I would change is the fact I forgot to feed James breakfast!! Oops!!
This would be the point of "no breakfast" melt down!! Luckily he held it together for most of the walk back:)
James has found another friend two doors down to play with. He and Sophie just giggle and play so well together. This morning they set up their own play date at the bus stop! Too cute.
Rocking at the front door while checking out a slide show of old pictures. Kept him busy for a good 5 minutes.
Just chilling on the table writing a story!
