Our new Nephew!!!

Walter Thomas Grant graced us with his presence at 12:56 today weighing in at 8 lbs. 8 oz and at 20 1/2 inches. Caroline and Thomas are doing great!!! They should arrive home on Thursday.

Ansley: Week of January 19th.

There is a new man in Ansley's life. He has big ears, long tail, and squeaky voice. Yes.. Mickey mouse has taken over Ansley's every waking minute. The greatest electronic equiptment ever is the portable DVD player and the ipod. The DVD player is going to break due to the shear boredom from playing the same Mickey show daily. Let's hope she likes him this much after seeing him this summer at Disney World. If she takes after me she may never look at him the same way after seeing the charactor at Disney. People dressed in costumes at Disney always made me a bit nervous.

This past week Ansley learned:

1. How to climb up the stairs at a fast pace.. mostly because mommy lost her for a brief second. I went to find her and she was standing upstairs laughing at me.

2. How to slide down the stairs on her bottom... mostly as a caution so when I lose her she might make it down on her bottom.

3. Still working on counting to 3 clearly.

4. Putting 2 words together!!! So cute, she told daddy "Ansley poop" (So proud).

Pacey?

Okay so Ansley took a pacifier when she was an infant for about 3 months then she just stopped. About 2 months ago she became interested in them when she was getting some teeth in. However, she just doesn't quite get how to use this pacey the right way! She will walk around with this pacifier inside out.
